SANTA ON BLUE MOUNTAIN- Meet Santa and Friends on November 30, 2019 from 1-4PM at this FREE Christmas Party for Children and their families! Make sure you bring your camera for photos with Santa! All of the following are 100% FREE for attendees: Ski Lift rides, popcorn, s’mores, hot dogs, cookies, hot chocolate, and photos with Santa!

***Membership Meeting Update*** – Membership voted to keep Membership Dues for 2020 fiscal year at $50. Association membership discussed and approved Policy change to deactivate membership to members whom do not pay dues by March 31, 2020. Members whom do not pay dues by this time will need to return any equipment issued to them by the MCCA, and will have their Association issued email and OFFICE 365 subscription benefit suspended until they renew their membership and are current with Dues.

**CPR & First Aid Training is open to all MCCA Active Members. This training is being sponsored by the MCCA and is free for our members.
MAAWL RAFFLE TICKET SALE
Help Support women in Law Enforcement by purchasing raffle tickets from the Mid Atlantic Association of Women in Law Enforcement. All proceeds of these raffle sales go to fund the 2019 MAAWL Training Conference held in the Poconos in the coming months.

2019 Membership Dues
The body voted to keep membership dues at $50 for the year 2019. Membership also voted that the MCCA will no longer collect PAFOC membership dues. Members whom wish to maintain membership with the PAFOC, should pay PAFOC Dues directly to the PAFOC.
Membership Dues are now able to be paid via paypal.
UPCOMING CPR/FIRST AID TRAINING
At the November 2018 membership meeting, the MCCA membership body voted to host a CPR/First Aid class for its members. The class is scheduled to be held on January 8, 2018 at 1830hrs, and will be located at the Monroe County Public Safety Center at 100 Gypsum Rd., Stroudsburg, PA 18360 (unless otherwise directed). This course will be paid for by the MCCA, and is only open to MCCA Active Members.

The MCCA is proud to announce that we have started accepting donations and membership dues payments online via paypal. Donations and Dues can now be paid by simply clicking on the “Donation” or “Subscribe” buttons. As the MCCA is a 501c3 non-profit organization, all donations made are tax deductible and help to fund our operations and special programs we offer at no cost to the community!!

******** TASER TRAINING ********
The MCCA is hosting our annual TASER Certification Course on April 22, 2017 at 0900hrs. Training will take place at the Monroe County Public Safety Training Building located at 100 Gypsum Rd, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
Cost of Training is as follows: MCCA Members: $45.00 NON-Members: $60.00
Students are required to fire (1) non-conductive and (1) conductive cartridge as part of training course. The MCCA will provide the appropriate cartridges to students at MCCA Costs.

Hearing on zoning changes in Middle Smithfield gets heated– Tobyhanna Township Constable Roger Metzgar had to intervene at a heated Board of Supervisors Meeting. The primary duty of a Constable is to keep the peace, and as such Constables often provide peacekeeping services to municipalities to help maintain order and help maximize the safety of citizens at public events.
